By accessing or using Familiqo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Familiqo is a private family organisation platform that provides shared to-do lists, budget tracking, family feeds, messaging, and related features. The Service is available via mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web interface.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo
• You will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose

4. Account Registration and Security

When you create an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload, post, or share content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our permission

6. Content Ownership and License

6.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to content you create and share on Familiqo ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Our Content

The Service, including its text, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Family Groups and Shared Data

Familiqo is designed for family groups. By creating or joining a group:

• You acknowledge that content you post may be visible to other group members
• Group administrators have the ability to manage members and content within their group
• We are not responsible for disputes between group members regarding shared content

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Familiqo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
• The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content
• The security of the Service against all potential threats

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or us.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
